Free data logging workshop for teachers

20 December 2017, 4.00pm - 5.30pm

Using data loggers is a statutory part of the primary science curriculum - they are also fantastic bits of kit which children enjoy learning to use!

Howsham Mill has purchased a set of 10 data loggers and would be happy to invite you and your school to use them at Howsham Mill, under the guidance of our Education Manager.  Helen is a Primary Science and Outdoor Learning Specialist, who has led CPD about data loggers in many schools, and also delivers data logging workshops for children in schools.  Visits to Howsham Mill are FREE, and we have availability in December and in the Spring term.

We would like to invite you and your colleagues to attend a data logging workshop at Howsham Mill.  This will include an introduction to using data loggers with children, as well as a look at some of the data logging activities that can be undertaken at Howsham Mill.

Please note, it takes about 10 minutes to walk from the car park at Howsham Mill to the car park itself.  The path can be muddy, and you are advised to bring a torch for your walk back to the car park.

Tea and biscuits provided!
